Origami

What is this thing?

The object at right is an origami duck. It’s an original design by Craig, based on a seagull designed by Isao Honda.

What is origami?

Origami is the art of making decorative objects by folding paper. It’s a traditional Japanese art form. In Japanese, ori means “folding,” and gami (or kami) means “paper.”

So what’s the connection?

What does this duck have to do with Craig and Yumiko Chapin? Frankly, not much—apart from the connection with Japan.

However, if you rearrange the letters in “Craig and Yumiko,” you can spell “an origami ducky.” Find that hard to believe? Just study the diagram below.

How can I get one?

An origami ducky like this one could be a decorative reminder to pray for Craig and Yumiko. If that strikes you as an excellent idea, you can have one. Just follow the simple instructions.
