hanks to the generosity of many, many people, Yumiko and I are here in Japan. Much of our support came in the form of gifts rather than pledges. These gifts should see us through our first term (if the exchange rate cooperates and there are no unforeseen difficulties), but we are here for the long haul, so we need to look ahead.

We are looking for churches and individuals who will partner with us financially in this ministry of training a new generation of leaders for the church in Japan and in other parts of Asia and the world. Whether your support comes in the form of a regular pledge or an occasional gift, it will—in God’s hands—help make this ministry possible.
